Walmley Ladies Raise a Record Amount of Money for Madam Captain’s Charity
Emma Holding came to Walmley Ladies ‘New Year Lunch’ to receive a check of £6904 for the The Norman Laud Association. This was Madam Captain’s chosen charity and Emma said it was the largest amount ever raised by one association.
It has been a great year and the Ladies have been very generous with their time, hard work and donations. The amount is fantastic but it has also been a whole lot of fun along the way. The Race Night, the Bridge Drive, the Sponsored Walk, the Fashion Show, the Gala Day and all the raffles have contributed to raising the money.
Emma said that the money would possible go towards a sensory garden for the children to enjoy.
