All are welcome at Walmley, and whether you are a scratch golfer or a beginner, we would look to help you get the most out of your membership. In fact the handicap system in golf is designed to make sure that every player can enjoy a game with every other player and have a fair chance of winning!
We have a very active membership, with people of all backgrounds enjoying each other’s company. All our sections offer a range of competition fixtures and a calendar of friendly matches and team golf events.
There are plenty of opportunities to also play friendly and informal golf as well as making new friends both on the course and at our many and varied social evenings held in the clubhouse.
Membership applications are welcomed from all ages, whether novice, beginner, improver or experienced golfer. Because we care about the future of the sport, we particularly welcome junior golfers.
