Walmley Ladies Win the Warwickshire Net Championships
Congratulations to the Ladies Team for winning the Daisy Hartill Memorial Cup = Best Net
On Monday 4th September the Club was privileged to host the 2023 Warwickshire Ladies Inter Club Championships. On a beautiful September, back to summer day, 20 Teams and 105 Ladies took on the Challenge of trying to win the above competition. There was nothing but praise from players about the fantastic course and Clubhouse. A great PR day.
Walmley have won the trophy twice before in 1983 and 1981 and were runners up by 1point last year at Coventry Finham.
However, this year the Ladies finally crossed the line and became the Net Champions
Angie Harrison, Liz Blake, Mary Randon, Sally Pyke and Deb Reynolds.
Congratulations also goes to Deb Reynolds who played a fantastic round ending with a Net 73 and was the lowest score out of all 105 player. She was just pipped on the Gross win by just 1 point.
